Ryan Feltner is 4-5 with a 5.75 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP, and he has allowed 17 home runs in 76.2 innings. Colorado is 45-70 with a staff ERA of 5.51, the worst in the National League, and 161 home runs allowed, and the Rockies are 18-38 on the road, the worst road record in baseball.

The last game of the night, and one of the more interesting arms on it. Keider Montero is 8-6 with a 3.17 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP, having walked 25 batters in 116.1 innings, a rate of 1.93 per nine that ranks behind only Rasmussen and Gilbert tonight. He does it without missing many bats, 81 strikeouts and a 6.27 rate, which means his margin is entirely about location.

Detroit is 56-59 despite a 3.53 staff ERA that ranks fourth in the majors and a run differential of plus 80. That is the profile of a team that should be several games better than its record, and the Tigers are 6-4 in their last ten and sit three and a half back in the American League Central.

San Francisco is 48-67 and has been dismal on the road at 22-40, but Oracle Park has kept them respectable at 26-27. JT Brubaker takes the ball with a 3.17 ERA across 54 innings and no starts on his ledger this season, which makes him the second opener-style assignment on tonight's board alongside Kansas City.
