Cody Bradford threw seven innings at Angel Stadium on August 11 and struck out exactly one hitter. Five hits, one walk, three earned runs, twenty-one outs, and a single swing that missed. It was his second start of a season Texas had spent waiting on him, five days after the Rangers pulled him off the sixty-day injured list.
Eleven and a third innings. That is the entire 2026 body of work behind the biggest position on today's card, and it is the honest reason this thing is sized at three units instead of eight. Sunday's board runs fifteen games. BetLegend is in three of them, and every one of those three is a number that reads wrong at a glance and gets better the deeper into the splits you go.
Three positions, 3.0 units, and the argument against each one is written directly underneath it.

Rangers Moneyline: An 88 MPH Fastball And A Bullpen That Slept
Bradford does not overpower anyone. His four-seamer averages 88.5 mph and he throws it 45.5 percent of the time. The changeup at 80.8 comes almost as often, 36.6 percent, and a slider and a curveball split whatever is left. Attach a 4.76 strikeouts-per-nine rate to that and you have a pitcher who needs the other lineup to keep rolling the ball over. Against the Angels it did, for seven innings.
Which lineup he gets matters enormously, and this one is missing its teeth. Sacramento has been a completely different offense for the Athletics than the road has: they hit .263 with a .788 OPS and have scored 310 runs in 62 home games, five a night, against .223 and 225 runs in 61 games away. Sutter Health Park is the best line on their entire season ledger. But Nick Kurtz, 21 home runs and an .879 OPS, went back on the injured list August 4 with a strained right thumb. Shea Langeliers, 23 home runs and a .829 OPS, has been out since July 26 with a torn meniscus in his right knee. The two bats that make that park dangerous are both watching.
Jacob Lopez answers for the Athletics. He is 5-4 with a 5.38 ERA, a 1.56 WHIP and 44 walks in 82 innings across sixteen starts, and he leans on a slider 32.5 percent of the time behind a 90.5 mph four-seamer. He has been sharper lately, seven innings of two-run ball against Tampa Bay on August 10. Behind him sits the worst staff in the sport: a 5.48 team ERA, a 1.50 WHIP, 193 home runs allowed and 489 walks issued.
THE PLAY
Now the part that argues back. Texas has scored 262 runs in 65 road games, which is 4.03 a night, and the Rangers were beaten 8-3 in this same building on Friday before answering 5-3 on Saturday. A price of -132 has to cash 56.9 percent of the time, and it is being carried by a starter whose 2026 file contains eleven and a third innings. What softens it is the relief corps. Silseth threw one pitch on Saturday, Junis eight, Latz thirty-six, and Junis had come off the injured list that morning. The Texas pen is rested and deep. Bradford is the coin flip.
Astros And Mariners Under 7.5: Betting Against Thirty-Two Runs
Friday night: Houston 10, Seattle 7. Saturday: Seattle 10, Houston 5. Thirty-two runs in two days at Daikin Park, and the number posted for Sunday night is 7.5. Ten meetings between these clubs this season have averaged 11.1 total runs. Nobody needs help seeing why this one looks insane.
It is on the card because of what has happened to Bryan Woo over the last two weeks. Seven innings on three hits against Detroit on August 5. Five innings on three hits at Yankee Stadium on August 11. Twelve innings, six hits, zero earned runs, two walks. His season line is 8-8 with a 4.15 ERA, but the numbers underneath it are better than that: a 1.10 WHIP with 132 strikeouts and 28 walks in 132.1 innings. He throws the four-seamer 47.4 percent of the time at 96.0 and a sinker 18.4 percent at 95.7, and a pitcher who does not walk anybody is the correct kind of pitcher to bet under with in a ballpark that rewards traffic.
Hunter Brown holds hitters to a .201 average, the lowest mark of any starter working today, with a 3.68 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 63.2 innings. The blemish is obvious and it is 35 walks in those same 63.2 innings, roughly one every other frame. What makes it survivable is the lineup in front of him. Seattle has scored 486 runs, fewest in baseball, hits .230 as a team with a .686 OPS, and has been playing without J.P. Crawford since July 30, Luke Raley since July 31 and Colt Emerson since August 14.
THE PLAY
Two things argue back and both are real. Ronel Blanco threw four innings and fifty-nine pitches out of the Houston bullpen on Saturday, which erases the Astros' long man and means any short outing from Brown lands on tired arms. And our own projection for this game lands at 4.2 for Houston and 3.4 for Seattle, which is 7.6 combined, a tick above the number rather than below it. That is why this is a one-unit position instead of two. The case is Woo's last twelve innings and a Mariners lineup missing three regulars, not a model edge.
Dodgers Team Total Under 4.5: The Strangest Home Split In Baseball
Los Angeles has scored 343 runs in 62 road games and 271 in 62 at home. Same roster, same lineup card, 5.53 a game away and 4.37 in Chavez Ravine, a gap of more than a run a night across a perfectly matched sample. The Dodgers hit .269 with a .787 OPS on the road and .248 with a .737 OPS at Dodger Stadium. It is the most useful number on the entire board and it has been sitting in plain view since April.
Milwaukee has spent the weekend demonstrating it. The Dodgers have scored four, three and one across the first three games of this series. Sunday hands the ball to Logan Henderson, who is 6-2 with a 2.88 ERA, a 0.91 WHIP and 69 strikeouts against eleven walks in 56.1 innings. Eleven walks. He works off a 93.0 mph four-seamer 45.5 percent of the time and a changeup at 82.5 nearly a third of the time, and he has held five straight opponents to three earned runs or fewer.
Los Angeles is also down to its third catcher. Will Smith moved to the sixty-day injured list on July 21 with neck inflammation, and Dalton Rushing went on the ten-day list on August 3 with elbow inflammation.
THE PLAY
Shohei Ohtani has 27 home runs and a .931 OPS. Max Muncy has 23. Freddie Freeman sits at .841. Los Angeles hits .262 with a .771 OPS against right-handed pitching and Henderson is right-handed, so one swing with two aboard makes 4.5 look very small. At -140 this position needs 58.3 percent, the steepest break-even on the card, and that is precisely why it is the smallest stake at half a unit. Milwaukee's bullpen is fresh enough to protect it: Senzatela threw twelve pitches on Saturday and Ashby thirty-one, behind a staff with a 3.51 ERA and 1,204 strikeouts.
What Can Beat This Card
Every one of these three bets against something that just happened. Houston and Seattle put thirty-two runs on the board in two days and the play is an under. The Dodgers have Ohtani, Freeman and Muncy and the play is a team-total under. The Athletics won 8-3 on Friday in the park where they score five a night and the play is the road favorite. A card built entirely on regression deserves that sentence at the top rather than buried at the bottom.
Bradford is the second problem. Eleven and a third innings is not a sample, it is a rumor. A 4.76 strikeout rate means nearly everything gets put in play, and Sutter Health Park has been the friendliest environment in the league for the home side's bats all year. Should he need seventy pitches to get through four, the position becomes a bullpen game against a lineup that has scored 310 runs at home.
Then there is the pricing. Two of the three plays sit above -130, so the card has to be right well past a coin flip twice over just to hold serve. Three units is the smallest total exposure of the week here, and that sizing is the honest reflection of how much of this rests on splits rather than on certainty.
Card FAQ
What are the three BetLegend MLB plays today and how many units are at risk?
Texas Rangers moneyline at -132 for 1.5 units, the Astros and Mariners game total under 7.5 at -105 for 1 unit, and the Los Angeles Dodgers team total under 4.5 at -140 for half a unit. That is 3.0 units across three of the fifteen games on the Sunday board.
Why is the Texas Rangers moneyline the largest position on the card?
Cody Bradford came off the sixty-day injured list on August 5 and has a 2.38 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP with no home runs allowed in 11.1 innings, and he faces an Athletics staff carrying a 5.48 ERA, a 1.50 WHIP and 193 home runs allowed. Oakland's two best bats are hurt: Nick Kurtz went back on the injured list August 4 with a strained right thumb and Shea Langeliers has been out since July 26 with a torn meniscus. The counterpoint is that the Athletics have scored 310 runs in 62 home games at Sutter Health Park and beat Texas 8-3 there on Friday.
Why bet the under in a series that just produced thirty-two runs in two days?
Bryan Woo has not allowed an earned run in his last two starts, twelve innings on six hits against Detroit on August 5 and at Yankee Stadium on August 11, and he has walked 28 hitters in 132.1 innings. Hunter Brown holds opponents to a .201 average. Seattle has scored 486 runs, the fewest in baseball, and has been without J.P. Crawford, Luke Raley and Colt Emerson. The counterpoint is that Houston and Seattle have averaged 11.1 total runs across ten meetings this season and Ronel Blanco threw four innings out of the Houston bullpen on Saturday.
What is the case for the Dodgers team total under 4.5?
Los Angeles has scored 271 runs in 62 home games and 343 in 62 road games, which is 4.37 a night at Dodger Stadium against 5.53 away from it, with a .737 home OPS and a .787 road OPS. The Dodgers have scored four, three and one run in the first three games of this series. Logan Henderson starts for Milwaukee at 6-2 with a 2.88 ERA, a 0.91 WHIP and eleven walks in 56.1 innings.
Who are the starting pitchers in the three card games?
Cody Bradford starts for Texas opposite Jacob Lopez of the Athletics, who is 5-4 with a 5.38 ERA and 44 walks in 82 innings. Bryan Woo starts for Seattle opposite Hunter Brown of Houston, who has 67 strikeouts and 35 walks in 63.2 innings. Logan Henderson starts for Milwaukee opposite Tarik Skubal, who is 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA in two starts since joining the Dodgers.
What break-even win rate does each price require?
The Rangers at -132 need 56.9 percent, the Astros and Mariners under at -105 needs 51.2 percent, and the Dodgers team total under at -140 needs 58.3 percent. The -140 price is the steepest on the card, which is why it carries the smallest stake at half a unit.
