Arsenal vs Everton
Saturday, 12:30 PM ET | Emirates Stadium, London | Premier League Matchweek 30
League leaders Arsenal are in blistering form and will be absolutely determined to maintain their seven-point cushion at the top of the table when Everton visit the Emirates. Mikel Arteta's side have been relentless at home this season, and the numbers back up that dominance. With 67 points from 29 matches (20W-7D-3L), Arsenal have built the kind of consistency that wins titles. Viktor Gyokeres continues to be the catalyst, the Swedish striker already notching 15 goals across all competitions this season, including 10 in the Premier League, making him Arsenal's most prolific debut-season signing since Alexandre Lacazette back in 2017/18.
Everton arrive in eighth place with 43 points (12W-7D-10L), which represents a solid campaign for the Toffees, but their away form won't fill them with confidence heading to north London. Arsenal are unbeaten in their last six Premier League meetings with Everton, winning four and drawing two, and the Emirates has been a graveyard for visiting sides this season. The absence of captain Martin Odegaard with a knee issue is a concern, and Mikel Merino remains a long-term absentee with a fractured foot, but Arsenal's squad depth has proven more than capable of covering for their injured stars.
Here's what makes this tricky for Everton: Gyokeres is in the form of his life. He's scored the most goals of any Premier League player in 2026, and his recent two-goal performance against Tottenham showed exactly why Arsenal paid the money they did. Eight goals in his last 14 appearances since the turn of the year is the kind of run that terrifies defenders. Everton will also be without Jack Grealish, who's sidelined with a stress fracture to his foot sustained back in January during his loan spell from Manchester City. Arsenal should handle this one comfortably at home, but Everton have shown enough steel this season to suggest they won't make it easy.
