Observations

Colorado Home Dominance

Colorado's 20-2-4 home record represents a 76.9% win rate and 84.6% points percentage on home ice, both league highs. Their two home regulation losses are the fewest in the NHL by a significant margin.

Rangers Home/Road Disparity

The New York Rangers have the largest venue-based split in the league. Their 5-13-4 home record (22.7% win rate) contrasts sharply with a 16-12-2 road record (53.3% win rate). No other team shows a home win rate more than 30 percentage points below their road win rate.

Tampa Bay Road Strength

Tampa Bay's 19-5-4 away record produces the highest road win percentage in the NHL at 67.9%. Their 75.0% road points percentage also leads all teams. Notably, their home record (13-9-0) is significantly weaker, creating an unusual reverse split.

Vancouver Home Struggles

Vancouver's 5-16-3 home record (20.8% win rate) is the worst home mark in the league. Their 27.1% home points percentage sits at the bottom of the NHL. They have posted a better record on the road (12-14-2) than at Rogers Arena.

Worst Road Records

St. Louis (7-15-3, 28.0% win rate) and Calgary (8-16-2, 30.8% win rate) own the worst road records in the NHL. Both teams show significantly stronger performance on home ice.
